The loss to Wisky will be the nail that will bury Tubby, especially if they end up 8-10 or worse in the Big Ten. That would mean that they started with a very promising 15-1 record and 3-0 in the Big Ten to end up with losing 5-10 record in the final 15. It is becoming hugely evident that Tubby is not the coach that many thought he would be here (or even was anywhere else). Investment ill spent. There are about 5+ very promising coaches out these including the one at VCU. I have had it, as the team has drastically regressed from the first 16 games and are not moving and playing as if they are new to each other. This coach is weigh heavy in their minds and getting in their way for good performance.

Tubby's annual Big Ten slide. I think I'd rather have Dan Monson back at this point...

On the time out with 45 seconds and 29 sec on the shot clock...WHY, not take a shot in 4-5seconds and guarantee another possession after Wisc, would have it?

Minnesota sports suck,,,,plain and simple. Even when you think theres a chance they show true colors just like the gophs are doing now.

Very Sad. More frustrating than the Munson era.

Tubby Smith-the Jon Gruden of college basketball...

This was a big loss. Something isn't right...the body language of the players during and after the game was proof enough. I don't expect much from here on out. Fooled once again was I...

Just like no one who has followed Tubby's teams seriously expected the Gopehrs to win at Northwestern, no one seriously expected them to beat the Badgers today. Granted, they did make it a close game but once again, shot themselves in the foot with turnovers, missed point blank shots and poor free thrown shooting when the game was on the line. Looks like another below .500 for Tubby once again for the same, same reasons. They simply are not a very good team in a conference of several good teams. Unfortunately, their success in non-conference play made all of us fans think that they were better than they clearly are. Tubby is just not the recruiter nor the coach that we were led to believe that he was. It will be interesting to see how many of the current Gophers decide to transfer after the end of the season again this time.

Tubby is living on his reputation of winning a championship at Kentucky with Pitino's players. Worst in game coach I have ever seen, at least Clem would rip off his coat and seemed to care. No more excuses and blaming the players, the ones YOU recruited, for your failures.
