Degrading militants is likely to take years. Regional forces, rather than foreign forces from farther afield, are best positioned to lead the fight. And political progress is at least as important as military gains. - - - no easy solution to forcing people to play nice.

Does this mean they will move home and I can have my old neighborhood back? Seems to me the Government should be taxing all the money being shipped to places like Mexico, SE Asia, and Somalia.
