"The girl and her parents want the trial closed to keep evidence that a judge might rule inadmissible from becoming public, their attorney argued in a court filing Tuesday. That could include "harmful" and "legally non-relevant" evidence, attorney Robert Fitzsimmons has said." That sounds like "retaliation" or "intimidation."

This young woman has been victimized once. The media circus that this horrific event has created and will continue to ferment will victimize her over and over. The community's protection of the young men involved in the alleged events makes you wonder if closeing the trial will be in anyone's best interest. We all have some big lessons to learn from what has occurred in Steubenville and the outcome of this trial.

It should be open but move the venue. Thats the point in a change in venue, to move to an area where there would be less bias. HOwever current judge stays and it is kept within its jurisdiction.
