Twitter lasts forever in Library of Congress

The national repository of all things has already collected 170 billion tweets, and the number is growing exponentially. Who will read all of those tweets?

"Who will read all of those tweets?" Who reads them now? Sad what an absolute waste of our tax money for storage cost. Save about 100 of them and lose the rest. :-)

This is great. The VALUE is for future historians being able to easily search. Aside from opinion pages, how would YOU know what people thought of various events 50 years prior???
