Just proves that the "parlimentary games" that Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell has used demostrates why the US Senate MUST have fillibuster and rules reform. When a minority within a minority could prevent a President from making appointments you know something is rotten. Senator's Franken & Klobuchar are you listening ? Are you willing to change the Senate rules on the fillibuster etc ?
winggophers- So when democratic legislatures in Wisconsin left the state when they didn't like the elected Republican majority union plans- this is OK with you?? Also- please read the article- it stated both parties used this tatic as well as the filibuster to block the majority. I await your selective outrage.
A good example of why the Founders were so very wise to put a system of checks and balances into place.
Yeah, right wingo. The republicans use the same tactics that the dems have used in the past, and all of a sudden the senate rules need to be changed. Not gonna happen. Two things are certain at this point; The NLRB is a partisan group that is biased and anti-business, and the President abused his power, which seems to be a common theme with this administration.
Love it... it's "parliamentary games" when the GOP does it, and "minority rights" (remember Tom Daschle?) when the Dem's do it.
Our great leader could care less about our constitution. He does whatever he pleases and nobody does a thing about it......for the life of me, I do not get why people support this man.......
Great news about the lefty NLRB appointees! Now if we could just find someone to undo Obamacare wouldn't that be just grand???
Obama's abuse of the recess appointments and executive orders (order precluding enforcement of immigation laws) demonstrate a fundemental contempt for the Constitution. If a Republican President engaged in this conduct there would be non-stop New York Times headlines and Watergate style hearings.
Embarrassed? I very much doubt that. Angry? I'm sure. Obama will just find another way around the rules of our country. He needs to get called on other constitutional issues as well. Watch this guy like a hawk, it's gonna be a long 4 more years.................
Now I'm sure someone is going to blame this on activist judge.
