Seriously. If you believe birth is at conception then abortion would be murder. If you believe birth is when the baby comes out of the mother you would be okay with abortion. Why judge either side. Its wrong for Christians to judge nonbelievers and its wrong for nonbelievers to judge Christians.

It's interesting to see what people will do to square their moral values with reality. Our society is economically cruel to single mothers and their children, especially while they're young. As lower-skilled jobs have either disappeared or no longer pay enough to support a family, marriage is no longer necessarily a viable solution to an unplanned pregnancy. Therefore those whose morality would have abhorred single parenthood not long ago have to adjust.

I became a single mom 24 years ago because a few Doctors told me I couldn't have children. Hence- no birth control was necessary. Wonder of wonders I got pregnant. The father was not someone I would marry, so I had our son on my own. I supported us without a dime of taxpayer subsidy. I would do it again. What is wrong with single parenting is when the unprepared, uneducated and unemployed create families they cannot support. That should be a criminal offense. Creating children doomed to a life of poverty is not a blessing. Children unprepared for school, life, and work are doomed to continue the cycle of poverty. Cruelty is what the poverty industry has created and they should be ashamed.

A great commentary on how we perceive our morality vs how we practice it. It's time we start to support all women in their choises. I am a pro-life supporter, but truly feel that the only way to end abortion is to make it obsolete not illegal. We need to support these women who choose their babies lives. To those women who abortion, I will not criticize; I believe they are doing what is best for themselves.

Did the illegitimacy rate fall from 1973-2013 with the legal, easy abortions? No, it increased over 10-fold, from 4% to 40+ %. More than 40 percent of children now are born to women who aren't married. ************** And statistics show that 70 percent of those children will spend time in prison.

Therefore those whose morality would have abhorred single parenthood not long ago have to adjust. ******** And pay higher taxes that will go to house many of those children as they grow and go to prison. Statistically 70 percent of all prisoners came from a home without a father.

It is hard to remember when I've seen a more profound tsunami of illogical, fallacious conclusions and non sequiturs in one article. All pro-life women are not religious zombies. Pro-life women are not less inclined to marry. Uncontroverted research shows that children of single parents do not do as well as children whose biological parents stay married until they are grown. There has been a sea change in the percentage of children born to unmarried women since abortion became legal. A person doesn't have to be for or against legal abortion to call total and unmitigated BS on this article!
