That is great Jobs Jobs Jobs. From Maintenance to I/T to other feed services. State must have hung out a carrot after Duluth opened up. All good.

GKing2.... don't hold your breath. Probably the most disorganized airline in the industry. If you don't believe ask anyone who has worked for them... can't even get simple payroll correct when they should. Various other inadequacies as well. HR dept for ex., took several years to negotiate a contract, etc. etc. etc. Running on a shoestring

According to Republicans low taxes are what attract companies and jobs. Then why leave TN for MN? Could it be their are other things more important to businesses? It could also explain why MN has more Fortune 500 companies per capita except CT (another high tax state).

9% pay cut isn't close to accurate. Try 23% hourly cut for senior guys PLUS many other losses makes closer to 30% pay cut. Has nothing to do with choosing MN. Utilizing Northwests old corp offices that are paid for. CEO used to be CEO of Mesaba and is from MN.

Memphis airport is a dated looking dump with 60s style brick interior, so its not saying much that they moved here. We get some jobs, but how many left the state?

Existing leases probably cinched it. I'll bet delta subleased that space to Pinnacle at a pretty good rate. Though Memphis is not exactly ultra cosmopolitan. It's interesting though. MN is a high tax state, but we have good, highly educated workers. Goes to show you get what you pay for, and I'll bet companies recognize things like return on investment.

Picking up a few hundred jobs is still better than losing them.... We've lost enougvh jobs in this state. We're also getting the headquarters here. Hopefully they sick around for 10-15 years at least!

I can't believe the people complaining about this company bringing jobs to this state. It's like every single other company in the world; try to do your best and try to make it. This company should be helped and encouraged, not slammed but one thing we would all like, is a lot less speculation (spin) and more concrete facts. I don't know if this company has good guys or bad guys or greedy people, but I do know we need to give them a chance.

Big boost to the economy. Chance for them to start over and up right their ship.
