I have to wonder how much this critic knows and loves opera. This movie is more than a "parlor game." It is a love song for music and opera, for the performers who still love their craft even when their instruments are not well oiled. At first it appears that, like many seniors, they live on memories. But, no, they are very much live in the present and the future, teaching and encouraging young kids to love and master music. They are even willing, like "Jean Horton" to put their diva days behind them and start a new, content, sharing future.
