When we have women in combat, when we have to resort to conscription to fill the ranks in the next major conflict, women will need to respond to a draft into combat ranks. Not every need for combat requires special testing. When you simply need numbers to charge a hill, all you need is bodies. Now, those bodies will be women, whether they want to go or not, just like the boys must do.
MPs and other non-Infantry branched Soldiers are not eligible for the Combat Infantryman's Badge, regardless of gender. Soldiers who served in the same capacity as her are (post 9/11) eligible for the Combat Action Badge.
I'll avoid getting too graphic here, but putting women in any situation where they would be subject to capture that would sentence them to an unimaginable death at the hands of their captors is insane. Is that really what we want just to proove how "enlightened" we have become?
