Prayers to Mary Kay and the Family. Glad to see the support is there for them from the Wolves organization.

For a guy that is accused of a lot of "grumpiness"...Patrick sure gives stories from the heart.

Adelman has been and still is a class act.

This man has his priorities straight. God bless him and his family. We pray for healing.

Would the Timberwolves allow a player to be with his family or serious girlfriend for so many days? Ruesse could have posed the question to the Wolves owner as he sits next to the bench at Target Center.

All the respect in the world goes out to coach Adelman for having his priorities straight. As pro sports are a microcosm of our greater society, way too often we hear about the participants treating family with cruelty and disrespect. It is inspiring to see this man put his wife and family ahead of himself. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Adelmans for a complete recovery (and soon!).

Great article. Rick is a true leader in life and sport. He leads by actions more than words. a true role model.

With all the challenges that have come with the Wolves organization, the hiring of Coach Adelman was a great move. What a class act. Prayers out to him and his wife and family. I hope she recovers. I also hope that Coach stays with the Wolves for next year as well.

This season is now a complete disaster anyway. At least Adelman has put the team on the right path to become respectable after two decades of futility.
