Ricky Rubio was odd man out -- and vocal about it later -- after the Wolves used J.J. Barea for the entire fourth quarter.

I didn't realize the Wolves were still playing, isn't the season over!

Considering they are playing without Love, Shved, Peck, Budinger, Coach Adleman and Darko!(laugh with me people) I'm surprised it was this close. It's tough to find the silver lining on this season as it slips away.

In the 4Q, CJ Watson whipped JJ Berea like a rented mule. And unfortunately, Ricky Rubio wouldn't have been much of a defensive upgrade for Coach Porter to sub in for Berea; Ricky's grandmother could have done a better job fighting through screens.

The most telling stat about this game is that mine is just the fourth comment. The Gopher game has over 60. I'm afraid no one cares anymore.

Has Kahn been fired yet?

If Ricky wants to play more in the fourth quarter then he needs to play better defense in the prior quarters. He is an excellent help defender, but his on the ball defense in this game was really weak. And we all know shooting is not his forte, so when we need some three's late in a game he is not the guy to get them.

What a god-forsaken, loserville of a sports town we live in. It’s embarrassing. We don’t got nuttin’.

I really feel for these players. Granted they are professionals and they are paid to play this game, they really are having to expand their roles beyond what they were brought in to do. Ricky is doing his best coming back from the knee surgery. His come-back would be a lot easier if KLove, Bud, Pek, Roy, and Shved were all healthy to take some of the pressure off. He'll figure things out with time. I'm afraid we are just seeing the worst of it right now. No matter how bad things get though, I'll still cheer for these players. They don't give up.

When you guys are done doing whatever this is, you should swing on over to St. Paul. They've got a professional sports team over there.

I suggest that someone sets up a game between the gophers and the timberwolves, so someone wins a game.
