Can Best Buy do anything right? I mean...anything at all? It's just one shameful blunder after another over there. If they want to keep from going out of business, then they should try to go out of business. They'll be sure to fail and thus stay in business.

Terrible company. I went to use the coupon on Microsoft office. On Monday the store I went to was out of them. I then went back to another store on Tuesday and they would not honor the coupon. I went someplace else and got the product. I will never shop here again. I have purchased two laptops, Microsoft office, two ipads, and an new camera in the last 6 months. None purchased from Best Buy. Every couple of years I give them a try and am reminded why I do not shop here. Bad service and they are too pushy with their ripoff "protection" plans. They are going the way of Circuit City-good riddance!!

Their so-called loyalty program - 'Reward Zone' - is a complete scam! They did not credit a very large purchase of mine ($4,000+) and when I called to try and get it credited, an operator in India told me they could not credit the purchase (despite me having the receipt) because it had been credited to another account. Reward Zone is a FRAUDULENT program and a total scam designed to close sales deals with the promise of store credit for purchases, but each time I have tried to redeem these credits there has been some reason why they can't be redeemed. BUYER BEWARE!

Amazon Kindle cards are a very popular item for folks to buy during ANY Best Buy promotion. Most of the time you can buy stuff cheaper at Amazon than at Best Buy. Too bad I missed out on this one.

I do the majority of my shopping online. At least twice a week, a company makes a mistake like this. Sometimes they honor it, but most of the time they do not. I've tried fighting it, and sometimes I can get a company to honor the offer.

Best buy made a huge and costly error, but anyone that claims they are obligated to honor it anyway should beware. With that logic, if you make a mistake and overpay a bill, or get overcharged, I guess the business wins after all NO MISTAKES ALLOWED.

It's a shame to see the continual misfortunes of a company with the kind of customer service reputation they have. Though while I agree with the Better Business Bureau comment about fairness, I learned long ago that they can be counted on to apologize for the company. Best Buy destroyed a laptop of mine 7 years ago. The BBB was the first place I went. Months later that ended with Best Buy refusing mediation and offering no solution. I ended up suing in small claims court and winning. When I checked back, found out that the BBB marked my case as "resolved to the customer's satisfaction." And no, haven't shopped at Best Buy nor had much faith in the Better Business Bureau since.

Typical of Best Buy... their old 'bait and switch' policy is still alive and well.

Thanks for mentioning my blog www.thecouponhigh.net in your article. I work to share great deals and money saving tips when I find them and unfortunately they sometimes don't work out. As soon as I received notification from Best Buy that the deal wasn't working anymore I shared it over on my Facebook page.
