Poor shooting plagues Gophers against Northwestern

Long stretches of cold shooting dwindled an early Gophers lead. Austin Hollins fouling out didn't help.

Welcome back to the NIT boys!!! If Coleman is really trying out there he needs to be released from the team pronto. The turnovers are so bad they almost look intentional. This team has hit a wall and look just terrible all around! FREE THROWS!!!! Ha

Same old story, Gophers out-coached AGAIN. The talent level of these teams are not even close.

lindy_frank123Jan. 23, 1310:25 PM

Team of underachievers who aren't winning anything in the Big Ten. Time for Tubby to retire and get away for awhile...Under achieving meand under coaching...

The tailspin continues.

Hmmmm, three B1G losses in a row. Bucky coming up in a few days to make it four. It must be th eGophers. Orlando Smith must be the coach. Some things never change - such as Orlando's ability to coach a team right out of contention in conference play. However, I don't want to appear negative. After their 7th place B1G finish, I predict Tubster will do better in the NIT than last year.

Same old, same old story with a Tubby Smith coached team: start off the season fast then go into the toilet down the stretch. Quit giving him contract extensions with TAX PAYER MONEY! And to think that he demands that we build him a practice facility is a bit deranged considering the product he puts on the court year after year.

I told you they would not finish .500 in the conference after indiana, but now I believe they may not win another game. Time to look for a new coach. This isn't working.

eillacJan. 23, 1310:26 PM

Both teams looked terrible. Hard to believe Gophs could lose to that team. Trevor only player to show up every game.

jonnybgoodJan. 23, 1310:26 PM

Tubby maybe can recruit, but he absolutely cannot coach. Please go away!!

martiankingJan. 23, 1310:27 PM

All these expectations for the team this year and this is how they play?! I'm sorry, but no contract for Tubby! Time for a coach who can coach them up, not down!
