The real question is, how long can the regimes in D.C. and St Paul continue to underreport inflation ?
For the love of God - is nothing sacred?
The price in Minnesota is more like $3.00
I live in West Des Moines, IA and our "chuck" has always been $2.99/bottle.
"....or "Upchuck." (That's a good one.) Strib usually shows great restraint reporting names of businesses in disparaging light. What gives this time? Doesn't TJs take out any display ads in the paper?
I think that it doesnt pay to buy cheap stuff if it isnt good but Three Buck Chuck is really a good value
@birdpeep As near as I can tell inflation is on a rampage and NOT reported. Perhaps it's supporting the housing market, bending the curve by devaluing the dollar. Perhaps it's a way to reduce Chinese debt in similar fashion. Perhaps it's a way for banks to get out from under their criminal liabilities likewise. But to present it only as a Democratic responsibility is a bunch of Malarkey! What Wall Streeter in fact ran last Fall on the Repub's ticket?
$2 bucks? $3 bucks? I've had 'Chuck' & it's a good value. Can you even buy Mogen David, Temple, Ripple or T-bird for $3 bucks?
Yup, 3 buck Chuck in Maple Grove. Trader Joe's has volume buying power...So it must be going up to 4 bucks. It's better than most that are twice the price.
