Beverage industry, NYC lawyers duel over city government's sugary drink limits

NEW YORK - The city defended its groundbreaking size limit on sugary drinks Wednesday as an imperfect but meaningful rein on obesity, while critics said it would hurt small and minority-owned businesses while doing little to help health.

Is there really anybody out there that really believes this is about your health...? This is really just another tax grab, because if it is served in a 16 ounce bottle or glass I can simply order two, but I would have to pay double the taxes. Restaurants could simply give free refills to get around it. Simply another Democrat ploy to make stupid people believe the government cares for you, they are simply buying the vote of ignorant people.
