So, Reid thinks the No budget, no pay plan is silly. I find it silly, no, I find it deplorable, that the senate has not passed a constitutionally required budget if over 4 years.

Great, 4 whole months of continued uncertainty and bickering over bills we already owe. Thanks, GOP.

I think we should retro-actively take pay away from the senate for not producing a budget for the past 4-years.

Another 4 months of indecision for the 'job creators' and stock manipulators of Wall street. The GOP continues to do everything in their power to tank the economy for political gain.

dagnabbit, just so were clear the Dems will pass this too and Obama will sign it so your rant is meaningless. The great thing is the next cliff coming really is a cliff, no cuts and automatic cuts happen, i love it cant wait.

Didn't we just have an election where Americans spoke? Why can't the House majority figure that out. They will see how their constant "feet-dragging-kick the can down the road" mentality in 2014.

The GOP continues to do everything in their power to tank the economy for political gain.-------------Nope, the dems are doing that all on their own!

The Republicans better reread the constitution because the "no budget, no pay" rules are unconstitutional under the 27th amendment. No sitting Congress is allowed to raise or cut its own pay, only the pay of future Congresses.

Didn't we just have an election where Americans spoke? Why can't the House majority figure that out-------------Evidently, you didn't see that the REPUBLICANS were elected to the majority in the House. So, yes, America did Speak. They want responsible gov't, not more gov't.

marianneb, you right 4% more of americans want more debt and more spending, BTW 70% of the people were happy with thier existing healthcare, how did that work for us. As for 2014 the GOP will be trounced why not dig your heals in and finally get some cuts and do whats fiscally right.
