Sarah Paulson did a decent acting job in the show and it was fun to see the interactions between actors who appeared in season 1 (kept waiting for Sister Jude to shoot the dark angel in the eye), but this season was not as tight and compelling as the first. Maybe there were a few too many subplots and storylines. Part of horror is a straight man corrupted, and AHS: Asylum didn't manage that. Everyone was a little too twisted, except maybe Kit and Pepper.
