Nice, traditional garden, from what I could see in the pictures. I would like to see this series include more variety and coverage of some of the newer gardening styles.

What a beautiful composition of trees and plants. It's inspiring and makes me want to try harder.

I have a hunch that this story was written months ago and sat on a shelf until now.

Callmeron, We visit the winning gardens and take photos in the summer, when they're at their peak, then stagger their stories throughout the non-gardening months. So, while the original reporting was done "months ago," the actual writing takes place close to the publication date. We do check back in with the gardeners prior to publication, for any updates or changes in situation.

Jeannie has a great garden and works very hard at it!! All gardens are different and all are beautiful in their own way. I have had the privilege to see this garden in July and all one can say is "WOW"
