I think Nashville wins as I have already predicted before the home stand began, 2 predictions correct and zero predictions wrong thus far. I give the Wild credit for beating Dallas when Dallas did not beat themselves, usually Dallas has no shortage of knuckleheads. Nashville won't beat themselves....... I am going to be positive and not harp on our obsession to call a 1st 2nd 3rd line on this particular poster, even if Brodziak, Clutterbuck and Bouchard are clearly the better line compared to what I think they are calling the 2nd line with Grandlund. Now on to the positive, I don't know who deserves the credit for developing a checking line and putting Bouchard on it but that was a great idea, the spirit behind it had to be to protect Bouchards health, when your checking the other teams top players you don't have to worry about that occasional ham and egger who thinks your head is fair game. Keep him checking the other teams top line and keep him on the power play and hopefully you keep him healthy...... Mister Know it all likes the concept

I just have to say I grew up a basketball and I am a huge Twolves... fan but enjoy ultimately all sports. My friends know first and foremost I'm a Vikings fan... a true Vikings fan (haven't missed a game in 6 years on TV, been to the dome for a few.. all I can afford) That being said, I've never really got into the Wild before only catching a game here or there the last few years but I've watched them the first two games and plan on watching the next and probably all year, they are very fun to watch... I hope this holds true to the other "in-betweeners" within the pro hockey market in MN. Exciting year for hockey in MN! GO WILD

Nashville looked good against St. Louis last night. Should be a real contest tonight. Let's go Wild!! I'm looking forward to an intense game. Shut 'em down Suter!

Nashville looked GOOD? They lost at home and were outshot 39-24. The Blues had way more shots despite only having 2 powerplay opportunities to Nashville's 6. I think the Wild are going to win this one.

bbattle, welcome to the club. I'm glad to see that in a market where hockey is already big, new fans can still discover the game. I try not to diss b-ball even though it is in competition with hockey. I just think that if you put the two games side by side there is just no comparison, hockey wins by a landslide. That being said, I still pay attention to and occasionally watch the Wolves and Gophers play because I am a sports fan in general. I just have hockey higher than everything else (yes, even the Vikings).

I think one guy people fail to credit, one reason why Suter (and Parise) did come here, is Craig Leipold. Although he gets bashed a lot, he's a great owner by owner standards: He loves the game; he knows the game well for a billionaire; he's willing to do whatever it takes; he wants to win; and he's assembled a talented front office. But there's more to it. Leipold DRAFTED Suter, and Ryan played his first four seasons for Leipold in Nashville. So whatever Suter has become, he owes it in some part to the man he now plays for. And that may have swung Parise, too, if Ryan said, "This guy is a good guy to play for."
