It's good to get an update (mostly curious about cost and if they can cut it down due to less-than-stellar e-pulltab revenues) but really, does this stadium have to look like a cake/pastry?

I am sure it will look nothing like a pie thing once it's built. The artist that drew that up must have been on some bad drugs. Mortenson has done a solid job with the other places they've built around town, hope they get it.

Why not a cake/pastry look? Then Minnesota's Pillsbury could pay the state to have its name on "Der Strudel."

Keep the dollars in Minnesota - give the job to Mortenson.

LOL You're right-it probably won't look like this at the end. I've seen this photo a dozen times thinking, "it reminds me of something" and it dawned on me what it was. Yes, I was hungry at the time.

so zygi wilf is going to pay the extra money that he thought would be covered by gambling, that turned out to be not so successful? If not, then why is this still going forward??? The taxpayers were already extorted into paying way too much for this...

Yes while the rendering of a new the new stadium is butt ugly, we have to remember-there was no roof approved for the building. So let's hope they can do better than that.

If I'm paying for this stadium which I clearly do not want then I at least want people from Minnesota building it. I don't want my tax dollars going to Arizona or Sweden!! Keep my money here! We're already sending our tax dollars to the Wilf in New Jersey. Can we at least, at the very least, keep the rest of it here please!
