Special interests gather for their own inaugural parties, though scaled back from '09

WASHINGTON - While most Americans caught distant glimpses of President Barack Obama's second inauguration festivities from their living room TVs and on the Internet, a privileged set of celebrities and special interests got pampered access Monday at exclusive soirees just blocks from the ceremonies.

"Many of the lobbyists I know are far less warm on Obama than they were four years ago," said Wright H. Andrews Jr., a former president of the American League of Lobbyists. "They're understandably displeased with his vilification of lobbyists." I agree with Obama. Lobbyists are basically well funded people with clout that abuse their power to bribe/purchase what their lobby is for. They should be outlawed.

The inauguration and this story have been on this page since Jan., 22, 2013...today is February 6, 2013. Time to get this crap off and put on the new stories about how obama is going to cut the wasteful spending, get the economy roaring, lower unemployment and cut the deficit in half...just like he promised 4.5 years ago! We're waiting.....
