Local firm among those seeking $975M contract.
Where is a link to the sports fauxthority's website which should have the bid specs, results, meeting minutes, schedules, expenses, salary checks, and all other public record documents on it and in downloadable PDF format? Thanks.
I wish you would stop using the picture. Hopefully the stadium will not resemble the picture but I am afraid the architect will begin to believe that is what it is supposed to look like.
The construction manager will be on the hook for 3 years. The City of Minneapolis will be on the hook for 30. Who's going to have more responsibility?
Why would you bid on something and not know where the money is coming from to pay for it? Wake up Minnesota before it's to late. Ziggy will probably be ordering team uniforms now before Gov. Dayton starts his tax on clothes. What in hell makes you tick Dayton?
Who ever wins the bid will be thanking the taxpayers of Minnesota. Pulltab revenues? Fantasy! Will the new legislature pull the plug on this stadium? Wait! They will specify that a new tax on clothing will go to pay one football player's
$100 million salary over the next seven years! What could be more fair?
Same old stadium opponents with their tired criticisms.....YAWN!!!!
How do you bid on a stadium that hasn't been designed yet? I guess probably the same way you arrive at a $975M cost without a design, or without a way to pay for it.
Please do not build that hideous thing that they have pictured. Build a stadium we can be proud of and not some oversized spaceship that looks like an under cooked bagel. I hope the design reflects Minnesotas love of our Limestone and rocks from Minnesota quarrys. make this something we can all be proud of not some "Artsy Fartsy" craft sideshow.
When will we find out if anyone will buy the stadium bonds? As I recall, the bonds are unique in that the legislature decides whether or not to make repayment on the bonds.
Completely agree the model in that picture has got to go.
