Center Chris Johnson kicked off his 10-day stint with the Wolves with adrenaline and aggression -- as did Mickael Gelabale.

Both of these guys provided length, energy, and much needed defense. Harden didn't know what to do when he had Gelabale draped all over him at the 3 point line. He finally succumbed to Gelebale's smothering defense and just sat down out of bounds and turned the ball over. I hope these guys get a fair shot to stick with the team. We need them. Just an excellent effort on both their parts. For those of you who missed the game, it was fun seeing the newcomers play. But Houston played about as poorly as a team can play. They were missing shots at the rim and from the field, turning the ball over on nearly every possession, not rebounding or drawing fouls, and in short, they looked like the Wolves, circa 2009-11. A truly horrendus effort on their part. The Wolves did a good job of kicking a team when it's down. Lin and Harden both looked very ordinary. We'll see if this was a fluke when we play Atlanta tomorrow. Go Wolves!

Given a chance and making the most of it is a good thing. Hopefully they will continue on that path.
