High temperatures on Saturday inched toward 40, but when most Minnesotans woke up Sunday morning, the thermometer was at 0.

LOL... I have lived in Idaho and Minnesota. Below zero is brutal...but live/adapt with it.

Many of us were here in the mid-90s when it was below zero for 2 weeks solid. Difficult- yes. Impossible- no. And the U only closed when the low temp got down to -25.

Below zero temps? Yuck. I never could figure out why anyone would go outside in those temps. Seeing this, I'm sure glad that I'm in SoCal now. It's been in the low 80's the last few days in Irvine.

I'm flying down to Florida in the morning to visit my sister. I didn't plan on leaving because of the cold, it just worked out that way. Lucky me.
