If the Senate does not pass a budget by April 1st. The entire body should resign and new elections held.

How much is enough Chuck? You just raised tax revenue by 600-800 Billion... Time to look at the drunken sailor spending.

Why hasn't Harry Reed been brought up on charges for disobeying the law. He should be impeached and stand trial for failure to do his duty.

The fact that this is a news story is really just... sad. Congress is entrusted with the power of the purse and the Democrat Senate has avoided that role for three years. Despicable.

Cheney: "Reagan proved deficits don't matter" the main deficit drivers are Bush legislation, wars, tax cuts not paid for and the recession, Also they've already done about 4 dollar of cuts for 1 dollar of revenue increase. The right talked about eliminating loopholes etc... so do it.

So, they pass a budget but it will have enough poison pills in it that the republican controlled house will not give it the time of day. And before all you republicans get smug about that simple truth; you have done the same damn thing with your legislation. Now, you know why Boehner has an 18% approval rating and I suspect Reid is no better. So what can we do? I think I'll have some lunch.

Also discussed this morning, for about ten seconds, was the defense budget that one panelist dismissed in nine seconds. It's so sad that we would rather throw the elderly under the bus, while trying to keep our status of an empire building nation. As the late Dear Abby would say, "MYOB."

Finally, I almost laughed out loud when Richard Engle tried to put his two cents in about this and other topics, and Joe Scarborough told him he was wrong; an example of someone whose idea of what America is, that everybody else is wrong. Engle has been there, done that... and Scarborough? Well..... Let's just say that in the last 20 years, I have talked to a lot of people from foreign countries, that will confirm everything that Engle said.
