Can't add any commentary to this one, the cartoon says it all. I heard an Afghan occupation expert state the other evening that the Afghan deal has cost us 557Bil thus far. And that has done what for us? Any of the Wall Streeter elites have offspring over there? Doubt it very much. Wake up folks.
No, few if any Wall Street (or government) elites have children over there, but they sure make a lot of money off government contracts to pay for all sorts of services. The military-industrial complex is a huge gravy train for politicians and the rich people who pay for their campaigns.
Richard Engle said it best today on a TV news show, when he said that both Iraq and Afghanistan "were a disaster." Now, want to discuss our national debt some more?
America's wars have been started by rich people for the benefit of rich people, fought by poor people, and paid for by the middle class. Enough!
