She was a big Vikings Stadium supporter and was certain the E-pulltabs would fund all of it (LOL). Great job Claire!
Great! I'm so glad I don't live in Scott County. They are spending tax dollars to capture more tax dollars. Where do they think the money will come from?
16 years and no bridge money? She carried the extremist views for years and then left because...everyone was so divided and angry? Scott Co delegation has been so extreme it has not brought state support to county transportation needs. Voters have gotten what they asked for in county board and legislators and now want the dems to fix it for them. Good luck with that. Bob Schmitz and Gail Rebecca Kelso were moderate legislators in Scott before the extremists took over; result: major river crossing and other local aid. Claire has a hill to climb for this to work.
Scott County Commissioners must live in an tunnel. Did they not realize that the Democrats now control the legislature and the Governors office? Senator Robling was a very partisian Republican who now will be trying to convince Democrats that she only has the interests of Scott County at heart? How much they paying her ?
Republicans in Scott county voted against the gas tax increase, against the transportation funding sales tax yet they want the lion share of the state's transportation dollars to be spent on them...a county that represents less than 5% of the metro population.
