Minneapolis got screwed on the Viking's stadium. But you've got to respect Glen Taylor for being a reasonable owner, and I am all for upgrading buildings for pro sports teams over building new pleasure palaces.

The Target Center is the ugliest building downtown (and that's saying something). Rather than overhaul it, tear it down! There is no reason why the Wolves can't play in the Xcel center (they're the MINNESOTA Timberwolves after all).

Why build another arena for a bunch of whiners who don't know how to win. We should expect a return on our investment - like making and advancing in the playoffs BEFORE building a new stadium.

Add a casino in the plan and it will be self sustaining and draw people to the city year round.
