The FEDS just cannot stop sticking their noses in everyone's lives.

This is insanity: for the most part doctors lying or over exaggerating, lawyers suing and government bureaucrats are the real beneficiaries.

Food allergies aren't exaggeration. For the most part, most of us exist in a state of chronic inflammation (which is caused by these allergies), which is making us fat and is causing numerous health problems. So, it isn't just about not being able to bring PBJ sandwiches to school. It's a real issue affecting everyone.

Big brother just doesn't quit, does he. People with life threatening allergies should take 100% responsibility for FEEDING THEMSELVES! Schools must ( logically) not enforce meal plan participation with a verifiable allergy, but other than that, they should not be responsible. This is getting to be outrageous.

Remember when a disability meant someone was blind, missing a limb, or was deaf? Look at what years of liberalism run amok has brought us to: ADHD, alleged autism, allergies(?!!), 'personality disorder' and the list goes on for miles. Don't forget the massive increase of millions more getting lifetime SSI disability payments under Obama's new rules. And people wonder why we're going bankrupt.

Part of the issue is that things like wheat gluten and corn syrup are in just about every prepared food we eat. There was just an article on BBC where doctors have linked asthma and eczema (forms of allergic reactions) to consumption of fast food. Personally I quit eating all fast food 3 years ago. I gave it a go once last summer because I was starving and I was so bloated I couldn't stand it. If a person is going to die without epinephrin from eating something or have their guts inflamed in situations where they are a captive audience I think this is totally proper. As far as restaurants go, I think competition is the key. When the general population realizes that they feel much better without these overly processed, gluten laden foods more restaurants will follow suit. I have heard that wheat was genetically altered to produce more gluten than normal wheat, so maybe this is where the increase in problems is coming from.

Haven't you all heard Lincoln's speech? The one where he said our republic is to be of the lawyers, by the lawyers, and for the lawyers? Bill G.
