Edmonton never lives up to their on paper potential. No reason to think this year is any different. Like the rest of it, though. Looks good.

Vancouver and the Wild will compete for the division. Give Edmonton another year or 2, but by then the NHL will be re-aligned :)

Oilers?? The Edmonton superstars couldn't get their American Hockey League affiliate higher than 7th place in the Western Conference at the end of the lockout!

I think Phoenix will make the top 8 and the Wild will finish higher in the standings than Edmonton. Other than that its a pretty fair list.

Gotta love sports predictions. They never get even close to correct. Phx 12? Haha. The Coyotes finished as the 2nd best team in the west. They have arguably the best blue line and goaltender in the west. The Trib predicted the Vikings to win 3 games last season....

109 for the Blues seems like a lot of points for a 48 game season.

109 standings points for the Blues - that was from their 2011-12 season, not a prediction for 2013! Reread the article.

Oops didn't see that. So, since your such a smart "ace" how many points do you think it will take to be the top dog in the conference xjritter?

Get to the playoffs, and the whole thing is a toss-up. You'd have better luck drawing winners out of a hat. That's why the NHL is a ton of fun to watch :)
