I guess you didn't get the memo Mr. Sack. We are never to demonize Hollywood. Not for being rich, because that's how we demonize big corporations and CEOs, not for violence, because that's how we demonize the NRA, not for anything. Quit muddying the waters, we're trying to make GUNS illegal, not films.
It's amazing how quick gun owners are to throw out the FIRST amendment to protect their hobby. Patriots... one and all.
"It's amazing how quick gun owners are to throw out the FIRST amendment to protect their hobby. Patriots... one and all." - I don't see any evidence of gun owners attacking the first amendment. Where do you see that? I do see evidence of anti-gun folks attacking the second, however.
Once again, another "diversion". The cartoon will create a little chatter about "film violence", then the topic will die down, and Liberals can "check the box". However, MOST of the Hollywood violence is "guns", but we wouldn't want to make any connection, now would we?
I find it fascinating that the anti-gun crowd is so quick to condemn the second amendment. They are ignorant of the fact that the Bill of Rights was passed as a package. Each of the 10 are of equal value. But watch them get their dander up with even what they consider the hint of free speech supression.
I am astonished. Sack being honest and holding leftists to the same ethical and philosophical standards as the "right" is an extremely rare occurrence.
It would be so lovely if people who post here understood the Bill of Rights. It gives no rights to own guns except for the militia and to fight tyranny of the government. Anyone seen a militia of late? And you should be shouting about your loss of liberty ergo the Bill of Rights , as they have been eroding since Bush. That was the intent of the document ... to protect our liberties.
