I wish this reviewer would talk a bit more specifically about WARM shows and artists. While the cause was good, I do not remember seeing work that looked that different from what other male artists where doing, such as sad landscape drawings that pretend to address identity/geography, bore-me-to-tears conceptual art and assorted figure based paintings. My artist friends avoided WARM. It was considered a little too clubby and catered too much for teachers needing the resume shows. The best artists, both male and female showed other places.
