I loed Subway until 2 or 3 yrs ago. They put on lots of lettuce, a few tomatoslices, but the meat & cheese comes from the factory in little tiny plastic packets...in Boonville, NY. They SHOULD value their business more than THAT!!

They use the metric system in Australia... and everywhere else, but the US. Apparently we don't like to conform to the standards used by the rest of the world, even if it makes it extremely difficult to convert measurements.

I always have gotten a 6 inch sub and have pointed out to my husband over the past year that my sandwich has shrunk...not 6 inches anymore:(

If I recall, McDonald's had a similar problem quite a few years ago with their "quarter-pounder". They eventually had to add the fine print that read, "Pre-cooked weight". BTW: Subway can solve their problem by letting a piece of lettuce hang 1/2-inch out of each end of the bun - instantly 12-inches; remember, it's a foot-long sandwich, NOT a foot-long bun.

thepoint...I have, and have had no problem getting dijon mustard instead of mayo. Jimmy John's is so much better than Subway. Bread is better, ingredients taste fresher, plus their UnWich is great...still get all the protein without the unneccesary carbs. I like Eberts and Gerberts the best though out of all of them. With the FourSquare App you get a free cup of soup with a sandwich purchase at the Wells Fargo building location in downtown Mpls.

A Subway spokesperson announced that this was part of their new Double Entendre advertising campaign featuring their new Innuendo sauce. The Twitter-verse is already giving it the hashtag #TheBloomberg since no one needs more than...

My issue with Subway isn't the length but the fact they put High-Fructose corn syrup in their buns!

Now every restuaranteur in the world is shaking in their boots, wondering, "Are we going to be next"? Wendy's, look out. Burger King, you may have to defend the size of a "whopper." This is nuts.
