The guy disables the methane detector and all he gets is 21 months?? Wonder if those miners would be alive today had he not disabled the detector? This is American justice, as polluted by the corporatists.

I hope the justice department does go higher up to the CEO of the company! But, 2 years for 29 deaths is not justice!

I know that Mitt Romney has informed the American people that corporations are people even though they are essentially a legal device for people to collectively evade the same standards of accountability as individual Americans bear, but hadn't realized that the Gary Mays of the world, who do the corporations' bidding, are also held accountable to a lesser standard of justice, even when said bidding results in 29 deaths (of people, not corporations).
