Very informing story on Trestman,I'm a big Bears fan and like this hire. Feel sorry for Lovie Smith finishes 10 and 6 is fired. Frazer finishes 10 and 6 and they want to put him in the Minnesota hall of fame!

Expectations...The Vikings weren't suppose to win more than games. Chicago was suppose to be good and really compete...again

Sid, hate to tell you this but Kosar and Gannon aren't GREAT QBs. Your definition and my definition of a great qb is like night and day.

@lindy_frank123 - Agree they weren't all time greats nor had great careers, but they did have great years under Trestman. Stats prove it.

If Trestman hadn't returned to coaching he wouldn't have been hired to coach the Bears. Very insightful.

"Gophers recruit Louie Nanne of Edina is seventh in scoring on the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League with 13 goals and 13 assists in 31 games"...SO WHAT!

Trestman could have been hired to coach future NFL players at the U of M. But no -- we send out Maturi and Mona and get 'aw shucks' for 3 or 4 years. Another opportunity missed.

Why all the excitement here folks. He has been coaching football all along, just in another league.

The game will come down to coaching and Tubby doesn't measure up to the other Big Ten coaches. Kentucky knew what we couldn't figure out!

Hey 15oct...you mean the Kentucky team that was just voted "most disappointing team in the nation"? That Kentucky?
