I don't buy it for a moment. Lance lies to enhance/enrich himself. Now he wants to "apologize" to enhance/enrich himself. He'll say whatever is necessary to get back in the game. Oprah is just enabling him.

Nice column, Gail. The only thing Armstrong is sorry about is that he got caught. End of story. And it is nauseating how Oprah Winfrey is hyping this. She does herself a great disservice.

Lance shows all the signs of a sociopathic and/or narcissistic personality disorder. So I don't think he's capable of a heartfelt apology. Something is seriously wrong about the guy's wiring. I hope he is not allowed to race again. The sooner he disappears from the public scene, the better.
