Ok I get what you are saying Amy but what about his family behavior means he hasnt been a great Dad? The family needs to knock it off. Yes, Dad could be more proactive and he should. I wouldnt wait for a next time, I would talk to them now and tell them it stops or you will no longer be attending family functions because your children deserve better treatment.
