Unlike Tubby Smith, Bo Ryan had his team ready to play from the opening whistle at Indiana and won the game forcsing the Hoosiers to play his style of game. The Badgers are now in first polace in the conference and after a less impressive start than many of the other teams including the Gophers, will be a major factor in sorting out the top teams in the Big Ten as well as the high NCAA seeds from the conference. The Gophers will have to continue to play well for entire games and not just in the second half in order for them to finish in the top five in the conference...and they may have a hard time doing that given all of the strong teams in the conference and the old addage about "any team can beat any other team on any given day" and so on.

It happens every year. The Big 10 gives the Badgers the easiest early schedule, they gain confidence, and they keep winning. They make shots, they don't turn the ball over, and they have the best coach, even when he's sick.
