Prince's last club gig in Minneapolis was at First Avenue on the morning of July 8, 2007 and it was FUNKY!!!

I love the music of the Kinks. Its going to be interesting to hear Prince jam out on their music at a venue that calls itself a jazz club.

That gig at Rupert's to benefit Chick Huntsberry was in 1990. Not 2000. Followed by a Civic Center show that was the only US stop on the Batman-era "Nude Tour." He also played some club-size shows at Glam Slam in the early-to-mid 90's.

I thought the Dakota was a jazz club, this man can't sing a note, somewhere all the jazz greats past and present are in disbelieve. Just to prove my point ask him to turn off the flashing lights and sing without the band drowning him out good luck!
