This makes my stomach turn. Anyone who thinks we don't need the ACLU to do what others will not because they don't have the guts. Shame on the Gaylord Police Dept. and its Chief: yours a dirty job, but you have given all cops a bad name. The ACLU doesn't back down from its' dirty job, how 'bout you do yours and send the bad cop on his way.

Is this the same egg processing plant that just got busted for hiring undocumented aliens?

The thing that makes the ACLU so legit in my opinion, is that they will defend you whether they agree with you or not. Most people would tend to assume the ACLU leans way to the left (as it would seem in this case), but they will also defend the KKK (far right) and their freedom of speech as well. Their interest is justice.

This Police Chief will do whats right for all. I grew up in a town where he was a Officer and he couldn't be more fair. I had some unwanted interactions with him and he treats EVERYONE with respect and dignity. The officer in question has had some unfair targeting from a specific group which has made this a bigger deal than it it should have been. Not saying he's perfect but somethings might have been stretched.

Kudos to Officer Boon for doing his job!!! If you don't have Insurance or a license. Don't drive!! Rules are rules! Follow them and you won't have to meet Officer Boon!! Enoughs enough. Find an officer who does do his/ her job and pick on them!! Good Work Officer Boon!!! I would be proud to have you as an officer in my town!!
