Blah, blah, blah make it up to the fans. This will go on for the rest of this year, maybe, and then next year everyone is supposed to forget all of this and keep spending their hard earned money to watch these people play and owners make more money. But remember, its about us fans!

If you were planning to buy tickets for the home opener, the pre-sale code was useless. I logged on at 4pm on Monday to buy tickets through my Wild account. There was nothing available. Odd because they said you can start buying tickets at 4pm. Same thing with TicketMaster. Logged on right at noon ... only single game tickets scattered across the arena available. How is that possible??! My Wild rep was more than useless. She suggested StubHub! Ended up paying $320 for 4 tickets on upper level end. Thanks, Wild! Don't bother asking me to renew next season. Hope the apology thing works out for you guys!

Free tickets would have been nice. Especially when they are spending the money to put ads in the paper.

markit8 - I like how you try to act upset and all, yet you just spent $320 on 4 tickets for opening night in the upper level, in addition to your season ticket holder seats.

Um, there were free tickets to tonight's event plus a $10 voucher for food. I think that is actually pretty generous. If I get a free jersey out of the deal I will be very happy!

I have a hard time believing the NHL is sorry for any of the lockouts they have had. This lockout as well as the others have cost the business areas a lot of money and has cost some people their jobs. I have a hard time believing the players or the owners ever think about anything other than themselves. The fans are what make the game what it is and pays for the billions of dollars they are fighting over. The fans should step up and show the NHL just how much the fans are a part of the game. I propose that on opening night, fans do not enter the area until 15 min after the game has started. It will be complete silence when the puck drops. The silence will be deafening and the maybe the owners and players will then understand the impact the fans have on the game.

If people had any spine, they would boycott the NHL, the Wild. Even if its only for 10 games- putting a dent in the bottom line is the only way they will take notice. They hope all teh sheep simply come back without issue- but anyone with any morals should stay away, dont buy tickets, merchandise, dont watch the games, etc- Spend your money at a local bar.
