Watch your language. The baby is listening.
Kid has picked up more swear words from pre-school than from us. It is a losing battle.
There are plenty of other reasons to quit swearing, not the least of which is to not appear to be a lowlife idiot.
These are just words people...our reaction to them is what causes them to be negative or positive. If people wouldnt put so much emotion into the words it really wouldnt be a big deal.
Baby's first swear word ought to be the four-letter word that parents and caregivers say when the diaper is loaded!
dlzabz..."Kid has picked up more swear words from pre-school than from us. It is a losing battle." Yet another reason to stay home and raise your own children. You'd be surprised how much better they are.
This reminds me of the story my dad told me about something he overheard at the bank he worked at:
A kid with his mother, said: "D-n, mom, look at this!" Embarrassed, the mother commented, "I don't know where the little S-O-B learned that language from!!" (she said the word out loud, not just the letters...)
Right you are, Thumper.
To all those giving me thumbs down, when did our society become so negative about children? I'm baffled.
Thumper5316- I don't think society is negative towards children. I think lots of moms (and dads too) would like to stay home but just can't afford to.
