When are we going to move on pass this "all or nothing" phase of politics? It's getting real tiring... I wonder how many of the people in congress doing this, operate their personal lives this way... "honey we need to cut back on the food bill" response: "well in that case we can't go to the grocery store at all"... "but we just need to cut back on some of the more expensive things..." response:"no! in order to fix the problem we can't buy any food at all- period!" ... I can just hear them now...

Mick Mulvaney is from South Carolina. Do you suppose he will demand offsetting spending cuts next time SC is hit by a hurricane and needs disaster relief funds?? These Republican idealogues can't see beyond the ends of their own noses.

A bill was recently passed that gave them They $9Billion to tide them over until the main bill is passed. There is NO Emergency to pass this pork ridden bill in it's current form.

Apprently the pork barrel forgot about the $9 billion dollar bill for Sandy that was passed on Jan 6, 2013. Did they already burn all that cash?

Can anyone name a bill that was ever passed that was NOT filled with Pork? ANYONE? This is disgusting. They fill this thing with so much pork and then claim that people are not wanting to help with Sandy Relief. I find it disgusting that the left are hiding behind the poor victims of Sandy and trying to slide thru Tens of billions in pork for their favorite vote giving areas of the country. Tell me, at what time did Alaska get hit by Sandy. Never? Really, then why is this SANDY RELIEF giving money to Alaska. Same with Oregon, Montana, Minnesota and 23 other states that were not touched by Sandy, but getting pork money from this bill.

"A bill was recently passed that gave them They $9Billion to tide them over until the main bill is passed.
