after dealing with the strib reporters, garden ire has absolutely no experience with answering tough questions.

It will be another 90+ loss season. Look at the starting pitching. Look at the bullpen. Look at centerfield. Look up the middle. On the other hand, it might be better not to look.. Those that think this team will be competetive and be in the hunt for the playoffs, are wearing rose colored glasses.

The lousy Twins got their stadium, and they give nothing back to fans but lame excuses. Target Field is now just a big reminder that Minnesota taxpayers are being taken for a ride. If I were Target, I'd pull my name off the stadium or sell the rights to the Dollar Store. Unbelievable. I wish they would have contracted way back when, but then I do enjoy the Yankees getting to pad their win stats every year. Thanks for the Yankee wins - Pohlads!

With the moves Terry made Gardy has been left out to dry with this roster. Moliter will be the manager by June. Pohlads hires Ryan to cut payroll and he has down it well. Time for fans to stay home until Pohlads are willing to invest to put winning team on field. Won't happen this year. Gardy is wasting his breath.

According to one report the net proceeds for the stadium after paying stadium costs was $212 million in 2011. Out of the $212 million they pay players, coaches and office staff including Ryan. What's left is profit for distribution to the owners. Let's see, $90 million for players, what maybe $5 million for coaches? Office another $5 million??? That leaves a lot of money left over. I love the Twins and want to support them. They are my top sports team even over the Vikings, but something's gotta give. In 2011 the Twins were number 12 in revenue out of 30 teams. They were number 14 in player's salary. I frankly expect more. I'm not against a good profit for the owner, but greed when we were promised much more. That's not right.

I say put TC Bear out in center. Then opposing hitters will have something to aim for. I agree ltufvesson - Gardy's been hung out to dry. But I think he makes it through the season. That will give TR an opportunity for a better manager search. Not sure if Molitor will be the lead candidate.

Wouldn't it be great if they made it mandatory for players to spend the off season hunting, shooting pool, fishing, and drinking beer like they used to,instead of injured all the time, the modern day player is a joke, they can't even complete a 9 inning game, think if you could rid yourselfs of 3 relief pitchers for 3 pinch hitters! You want to speed up the game? As Harry Carey once said the modern player needs a valet when he gets on base!
