Since Obama took office, gridlock on Capitol Hill has been the norm rather than the exception as one fiscal crisis has given way to another. **************Proof that this nation lacks leadership.

No, proof that the tea party is destroying America, and willing to do so to avoid granting the POTUS any political success. America has caught on, look at the polls. Congress 14% approval rating, Obama 55%. The GOP is continuing on the downward spiral and the issues of 2013, sensible gun control, addressing the deficite and who pays that price, immigration reform will show that the GOP is on the wrong side of public opinion on all the big issues of our time.
For that matter, congress approval rating back in 2001/2002 was less than 50 percent, Bush approval rating in October - November 2001 was just about 90 percent. In other words, polls mean diddly squat.
