Cust spending and raise the debt limit in the same bill. If you just raise the debt limit there will never be any spending cuts.

Raising the debt-ceiling is to pay for debts that we have to pay; not new spending. The two should never be in the same bill. They are two separate items.

Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18 times..Bush six. Now that Obama is in office, all of the sudden it's an issue. Can the repubs be any more transparent on their attempt to destroy America?

Would boehner know a responsible bill if he saw one? Or would he just continue to expect Obama to say 'how high" when the House says "Jump"?

Hey Boehner, care to let us in on your plan or is it a big secret. Over the years I keep hearing from you that "we're broke" and "we need to cut spending." You will get no argument from me on that, but you probably will if you have the nerve to tell us exactly what programs you are going to try to cut and how much you plan on cutting from each. Until then, I just don't care much what you say? Why should I? If I don't know what's on the block, why would I even care to listen? Get the idea?

It's time all of America face the facts, Boehner is negotiating on very shaky grounds. Of all the leaders in DC, he is the only one that has failed to deliver any sort of compromise what so ever. He can't seem to deliver the votes in his caucus when he reaches a agreement with the White House. He is a very weak leader. He needed the Dems to avoid the fiscal cliff. When will he deliver the votes to bring a true compromise to the issues of today to drive our country forward? My guess is never, as long as he is Speaker.
