Most of the so called experts made statements such as, "The Packers have all their weapons back now so may be unstoppable." Statement of the year? No joke of the year the way they got torched and out coached time after time. After the six pick to start out, the 49ers looked unstoppable and were. Where was the Pack defense hiding all day? Other than the 6 pick and the last token TD they looked like the worst team in the playoffs and after spending all that money to win it all, they disappeared with their head lines and paychecks once again. Where are the accolades for Mr. Thompson now for building such a dynasty? Seems like they have disappeared once again in the playoffs. Looks like the Vikes took too much out of them knocking them out of the #1 seed and home field advantage. Another thing was it wasn't even that warm in SF. Did anybody see any resemblance of any Lambeau leaps? Think not.

I don't see many big changes for this team, other than Driver and Jennings leaving, etc.... Like it or not, they will be back strong again next year........

Every team has rebuildinbg years and the packers will habve one next year. The new talent isn't as good as the old talent and the packers havbe plenty of needs. Oline is a big problem for them and if it wasn't for Rodgers they would be aweful. The packers can't run the ball and being one dimensional will get you beat by a good football team. The vikings have the same problem, they can't pass the ball. The packers will not win the division next year.

LOL! I commented last week on all the Associated Press articles the Star and Tribune decided to run with and blasted all of them saying this team is over hyped by the media. One headline stated the Offensive Line resurgence and another stated the running game was back. NO RUNNING GAME NO OFFENSIVE LINE AND NO DEFENSE! This team was over hyped from the get go! Don't know what the deal is with the media and this team but they are just not that good! Vikings should have played SF as it would have made for a better viewing game!

Pack is too soft to play with the big boys as SF showed. Pack plays kinda like a flag football team. Memo to Spielman and Musgrave. Did you see the K-Man run all over the Pack. Why did you have Webb in the pocket? If you would have done this a year ago in Wash RG3 would be your QB for the next ten Years. Spielman and Musgrave don't have a clue!

I read in the Milwaukee fishwrap an article after the 12/30 game that basically said their secondary was built to cover athletic receivers (re: Megatron, Harvin, and Brandon Marshall, et al). They're smaller guys who are quick. They don't have hitters who can one-on-one tackle runners from the backfield. Not my observation, it was the reporter's.

They did have their weapons back---they scored 31 on the road against a top 5 defense that had a bye. Clearly the articles you are referring to were discussing the offense. The defense is another story....

theboiler - "They did have their weapons back---they scored 31 on the road against a top 5 defense that had a bye." Actually their offense scored a total of 24 pts, 7 of which were in garbage time after the 49ers had a 21 pt lead. 17 pts before garbage time with all their weapons back isn't anything to brag about. The other 7 pts was scored by the defense to start the game.
