Oh the humanity. You'd think someone died. For crying out loud, it's the movie industry giving itself pats on the back. It's entertainment, not life and death.

There should be massive taxes on limousine liberals who attend and hold these types of self-aggrandizing award shows. Also, say $1 million per travel tax between Los Angeles and New York so these limousine liberals who tell us to use public transportation won't pollute the environment traveling back and forth between their homes every weekend or two.

The Golden Globes were on? Oh look, no one noticed. Music and movie stars shouldn't have an awards show every two weeks, it might keep more of the audience paying attention that way.

I can't believe I'm the only one who thinks that The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, and Dexter deserved to be up there WAY more than some of those other shows that were nominated/won.

JODIE FOSTER'S Golden Globes speech had all the clarity and resonance and drama of the ponderous overwrought CONTACT script. She should have made a clear, concise, unequivocal declaration that she is gay---or not discussed the subject at all. Everybody knows, Jodie, and nobody cares. The show was entertaining, and co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did a great job.
