Yes. She beat her opponent for reelection despite the bias of the press, and you characterize that as "humbling?" Like her or not, and most of the voting CD likes her, she clearly knows how to win. Humbling is not the adjective to describe 2012 for Bachmann.

She's so chastened, she submitted a bill to repeal Obamacare on the first day of the new Congress.

Graves will take her down next time.

Michele Bachmann is by far the best Representative Minnesota has in Washington.

"Bachmann further exhibited her independence on the first day....filing a new bill to repeal Obamacare, the 34th such attempt by House Republicans". Seems like Shelly might be the perfect "poster child" for Albert Einstein's definition of insanity ("Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.")

You have got to admit she won re-election even after the left threw everything they had at her. Re-districting, millions of dollars, smear campaigns, and maybe even a lot of voter fraud(remember Acorn and whatever it morphed into?). I think she is just getting her feet on the ground and then she will be back. By the way, has anyone heard anything from Franken?

Good for you Michelle I would have voted against it also.

"Democrats have long tried to unseat Bachmann by painting her as an ideologue more concerned with a national Tea Party agenda than representing her own district." - I'd say she's done a fine job of painting that picture herself. The Dems haven't needed to say anything for the real Michelle to shine through.

Mickey Boy do you have your facts mixed up. The republicans were in charge of the house, senate, and governor's mansion. The Democrats could not redistrict. They didn't have control. The far right wing had to throw everything at Graves, they outspend by a huge margin in that race, and the lies, distortions, and smears kept coming from the right. And really? You want to keep pushing the fraud that doesn't exist and has never been proven? My goodness you live in a fantasy world.
