Yet another one sided cartoon. Why not one with then US being strangled by our lack of mental health asylums and our inability to control the crazy people who commit atrocities.
PLEASE ! Stop blaming mass murders with military assault rifles on mental health failures. Aim your gun sights on the truth. The country is based on fear and violence. A kill or be killed mentality, that takes to the streets to kill a neighbor, friend, spouse, stranger or child, because they did, or said something you didn't like. It has nothing to do with movie violence, songs, or wackos, it's your societal failings steeped in fear. This cartoon isn't one sided, it is far too soft. Put that rack of bullets around a child's neck, because those are the people being killed.
Last year guns killed ; Japan - 48, Britian - 8, 34 - Switzerland, 52 - Canada and 10,728 in the USA.
This is the true atrocity. That anyone would or could want this killing of their own to continue. 4th Amendment? Go by a musket. That was the gun of the day. This "blame mental health" comment is stolen from a headline for people who haven't one original idea.
Sack being Sack. If he knew anything about guns and the law abiding citizens, he wouldn't be a mouthpiece for the anti-gun groups, including the Star Tribune. I wonder what his cartoon would look like if groups, institutions, etc., went on an outright offensive on the First Amendment?
Ranger, might you please read the Amendments you so wrongly point to in the diatribe you wrote?
The right to bear arms was intended for another purpose then you seem to understand. Knowledge will carry you far, ignorance is simply the enemy.
